Best Places For Eyelash Extensions In Sacramento

Eyelash extensions are the latest trend for achieving that sultry look. Long the go-to for lash enhancement, mascara has some drawbacks. It must be applied and removed daily, and clumping can result in the dreaded raccoon eyes. By contrast, lash extensions generally last several weeks and don't smear all over your face when the weather is hot or humid.

Extensions are put on by a professional in a salon or spa, and are made up of a multitude of individual synthetic or silk lashes. The material is flexible and comes in a variety of sizes, thickness and lengths, allowing the customer to choose the look they want. Each lash is applied with an adhesive that was created especially for that purpose.

To maintain the look long term, wearers must return for "fills" every few weeks. People that provide extension services do not currently need to be licensed in California. It is important that you choose someone you are comfortable with since glue is being used in the immediate eye area.

A full set of extensions is priced at $149 and takes about two hours. Touch-ups need to be done every two to three weeks, depending on how quickly your own natural lashes grow out. The first 20 minutes costs $29 and may be enough time to do the fill. An additional $10 is charged for each subsequent 10-minute period when more time is required.
