Cattlemens is a Western-themed restaurant that was established in 1968 by a father and son who were previously ranchers. They decided that they wanted to bring steaks up a notch by providing an authentic Western-style steakhouse experience. Cattlemens has two locations in Rancho Cordova and Dixon, and remains true to its roots and practices. It still practices a lot of old-fashioned traditions, such as aging meat in house and employing meat cutters to give customers the best cuts of steak. Cattlemens' menu features 10 choices of steaks, including a whopping two-pound Porterhouse, as well as ribs, seafood and surf and turf.
