THE DEFENSE
Q: Where do you live?
A: Sacramento, 95842. North Sacramento.
Q: When did you obtain this vehicle?
A: In 2003. We just moved into the neighborhood in 2002.
Q: Who did you purchase the truck from?
A: My wife bought it for me at Christmas. Our neighbor was moving to Yuba City, and my wife paid $400 for it. The clutch pedal was broken.
Q: You say the truck has 329,345 miles on it?
A: It's an estimate. My neighbor bought it from another neighbor. The first guy used it as part of his business. We've kept the truck in the neighborhood.
Q: What is your truck's main use?
A: Hauling rock, lumber, firewood, sand, pavers, and brick. Whatever you need to haul. We go fishing and camping. The cab is big enough for me, my wife, and our two dogs. We like fishing for trout at the Tahoe National Forest.
Q: Where in the Tahoe National Forest?
A: If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret. We go camping, and we've had a lot of luck there, catching our limit.
Q: Can't you give some kind of hint?
A: The F-150 gets only seven miles a gallon. Let's just say we don't go past 200 miles roundtrip.
