For restaurant fans in Sacramento, Dine Downtown Restaurant Week is a goldmine of food at well-known dining establishments for a reasonable price. Three-course meals at fine dining restaurants can be had at $30 per plate. Well below the usual price for these restaurants, foodies are allowed to partake in gracious servings of top-notch meals during this annual event held in Downtown Sacramento.

Presented annually by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, the event this year runs from January 9 to 18, 2012. Beginning in 2005, the event has continually grown to above and beyond the initial participating 20 restaurants. As of this year, the event boasts more than 30 restaurants offering their food to Sacramento residents and visitors from out of town.

To make reservations and plans easier for Sacramento foodies, Dine Downtown Restaurant Week is teaming up with the online restaurant reservation guide Open Table. Open Table's partnership with Dine Downtown allows customers to make reservations to the event and have all their favorite eats more accessible.
