7 Men Suspected Of Conspiring To Touch Young Girls At Roseville Water Park

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Seven men are behind bars for allegedly groping several young girls who are under 14 years old.

Roseville police say it happened on Memorial Day at Roseville Golfland Sunsplash Water Park. The suspects range in age from 18 to 38.

The men are from out of the area, as far as Manteca and Pittsburg.

"I was in the wave pool while they were staring at me and my friend. We thought it was creepy so we got out," said Gina Musso.

It was a close call for the 15-year-old, who later came to find out the same men staring at her are now accused of groping several young girls at the water park.

"It made me very nervous to see that happening and it's sad honestly," Musso said.

Musso says she knows one of the victims. She snapped a photo of Roseville police officers questioning who she believes are some of the suspects.

"The victims in this situation, their fast thinking to report it to security is the reason Roseville police was able to arrest these individuals," said Roseville Police spokesman Rob Baquera.

He says the seven suspects had been roaming around the park and appeared to have planned the lewd acts.

"They worked in a coordinated fashion to try and surround an individual and then inappropriately touch the female victim," he said.

Baquera says the victims were under the age of 14.

"This didn't happen inside a bathroom, or inside a closed space, this happened out in the open where these individuals could coordinate their efforts," Baquera added.

"My gut feeling was I didn't feel real good about it," said Ann Musso.

"Thinking that my daughter's innocence could have been tainted because of seven men who think it's OK to do something like that," she added.

A gut feeling that became reality for this mom. Now she's thinking twice before she lets her daughter go out alone.

"I don't know if I would ever let her go again."

Each of the seven men is being held on $300,000 bail, at the Placer County Jail. Their mugshots aren't being released, pending the investigation.

Police believe there may be more victims, they're urging anyone who knows a victim to please call them.
