Police: Suspected Stockton Package Thief Arrested
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say they have arrested the woman caught on surveillance tape stealing packages from Stockton homes.
Stockton Police announced earlier in the week that 27-year-old Kimberly Bird was wanted in connection to the thefts. Bird was arrested Sunday night on other warrants she had out for her arrest, police say.
Surveillance footage showing a woman walking up to a home along the 4100 block of Boulder Creek Circle then running off with a package left on the porch was released by the Stockton Police Department earlier this week.
Investigators are continuing to follow up on the package thefts, police say.
